At the international conference of
prosecutors from all over the world, organised by the International
Organization of Prosecutors (IAP), which is being held in Singapore, the Chief
Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Milanko
Kajganić, presented as a panelist the experiences of the Prosecutor’s Office of
Bosnia and Herzegovina and delivered a presentation on activities in the fight
against human trafficking and illegal migration.

Acting on the order of the BiH Prosecutor’s Office, members of the BiH
Border Police conducted searches and detained three persons - N.M.Z.*
(1974) and officers of the BiH Border Police S.K.* (1981) and A.M.*
(1993), because of the existence of grounds for suspicion that they
committed the criminal offence of disclosure of secret data under
Article 164 of the Criminal Code of BiH, and for endangering the
investigation of serious crimes.

The activities related to the detection and prosecution of the perpetrators of organised smuggling of migrants in the territory of BiH and EU countries, were carried out by a joint investigation team (JIT), within the EUROJUST association.
