A team of
experts for fight against extremism, terrorism and hate speech, headed by the
Bavarian Chief Prosecutor, is visiting the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and
Herzegovina.

The accused Nemanja Filipović, born in
1992 in Ljubovija in the Republic of Serbia, a citizen of Bosnia and
Herzegovina, signed a Plea Agreement in the presence of his attorney and thus
fully pleaded guilty to the criminal offences of Smuggling of Persons and Attack
against Official Persons on Tasks of Security, Detection and Apprehension of
Perpetrators of Criminal Offences, which he was charged with by the Indictment
of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina. He was subsequently
sentenced by the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina to a single sentence of imprisonment
for a term of one (1) year and two (2) months and a fine in the amount of BAM 1,500
as an accessory punishment.

The accused persons Ognjen Muharemović
(1985) and Slobodan Samardžija (1988) have signed Plea Agreements admitting
their guilt, and the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina subsequently sentenced
them both to the principal punishment of imprisonment for a term of one (1)
year each, and also to a fine of BAM 7,000 as an accessory punishment for each
of them.

As part of
a two-day visit to the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina, a group of about
20 prosecutors, including representatives of EUROJUST, as well as liaison and
contact point prosecutors with EUROJUST from countries in the region, visited
the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The accused Abdulah Džanko (1984) has
signed a Plea Agreement in the presence of his attorney, thus pleading guilty
to the criminal offence of Illicit Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs, referred to
in the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

the Special Department for Organized Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption of
the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina has issued an Indictment

Upon orders issued by the prosecutor in charge
of the case and by the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, an Investigator of the
Special Department for War Crimes has coordinated the work of authorised officers
participating in the exhumation process at the location of Kahrimani-Pazarić in
