OFFICIALS OF BIH PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE MEET WITH US PROSECUTORS

Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Deputy Chief Prosecutor and Head
of the Special Department for Organized Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption,
Mladen Furtula, and the Head of the Organized Crime Section, Safet Hrapo, met
with prosecutors from the United States of America, namely with Seth
Schlessinger from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of
Virginia, Tim Severo from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District
of North Carolina, Senior Rule of Law Advisor Edward Lee from the Bureau of
International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL), and Almir Smajli,
INL Legal Counsel
The Prosecutor’s Office of BiH participates in several international activities with partner institutions and agencies from the EU and the world, as part of its work on cases of organized crime, connected with international elements and perpetrators operating in several countries.
