ACTIVITIES CARRIED OUT IN THE CASE OF THE CORRUPTION SECTION
15.10.2025. 14:24In the case handled by the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH, police officers from SIPA and the RS Ministry of Interior carried out arrests and searches of suspects within the framework of the case initiated for the corruptive criminal offense of Accepting Gifts and Other Forms of Benefit under Article 217 of the Criminal Code of BiH.
The activities included suspected members of the customs authorities within the ITA BiH, a total of four customs officers*, who work at border crossings in the north of BiH, on the border with the Republic of Croatia (Gradiška, Kozarska Dubica, Gradina and Brod), and are suspected of having committed corruptive criminal offenses during the entry of goods and passengers into the territory of BiH.
During the search, a large amount of cash, amounting to more than dozens of thousands BAM, was found and seized from one of the suspects.
After the suspects are handed over to the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH, the Assigned Prosecutor will make a decision on further activities in the case.
