MEETING BETWEEN CHIEF PROSECUTORS OF PROSECUTOR’S OFFICES OF BIH AND PUBLIC PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE FOR WAR CRIMES OF SERBIA

The meeting between the Chief Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s
Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Milanko Kajganić, and the Acting Chief Public
Prosecutor of the Public Prosecutor’s Office for War Crimes of the Republic of
Serbia, Dušan Knežević, was held in Belgrade.
The meeting discussed the strengthening of mutual cooperation and activities in the fight against impunity for war crimes, as well as solving the problem of the inaccessibility of suspects and persons accused of war crimes.
They also discussed about the provision of support to witnesses in war crimes cases, who travel from one country to another for the purpose of testifying, in order to make this process as easy and faster as possible.
