THE PROSECUTOR’S OFFICES OF BIH AND SIPA CARRY OUT AN OPERATION IN SEVERAL CITIES IN BIH WITHIN THE CASE CODENAMED “INDEX”

Under the
supervision of prosecutors from the Special Department for Organised Crime,
Economic Crime and Corruption, SIPA police officers are carrying out searches
and arrests of suspects in several cities in BiH - Goražde, Sarajevo, Zenica
and Travnik.
The operation covers several natural and legal entities, and the investigative activities relate to the detection of unlawful activities linked to private higher education institutions in BiH and to the criminal offences of unlawful issuance of university diplomas, money laundering and other criminal offences.
The connection between the suspects and legal and natural entities abroad is being investigated within the case.
Once the activities have been implemented, we will be able to provide more information to the public.
