  • SIX ACCUSED PERSONS SIGN PLEA AGREEMENTS ADMITTING THEIR GUILT IN SKY CASE

Having seen the prosecution evidence, six accused persons in the case code-named "STAZA" /”Path”/ signed Plea Agreements in the presence of their attorneys, thus fully admitting their guilt for the criminal offences related to organized crime and illicit trafficking in narcotic drugs, and they were subsequently convicted by the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

In accordance with the Plea Agreements, the following sentences were proposed for the accused persons:

  • For the accused Dragan Pejović aka "Bosanac", born in 1985, from Trebinje, a prison sentence of 5 years and confiscation of unlawfully acquired material gain in the amount of BAM 35,000, as well as confiscation of instrumentalities used to perpetrate the crime, namely, confiscation of a BMW passenger motor vehicle.
  •  For the accused Anđelko Milošević, known as "Ciri", "Kirofa", "Medo" and "Glavonja", born in 1975, from Trebinje, a prison sentence of 1 year and 6 months, and confiscation of unlawfully acquired material gain in the amount of BAM 1,000.
  • For the accused Aleksa Mališ, born in 1998, from Trebinje, a prison sentence of 1 year, and confiscation of unlawfully acquired material gain in the amount of BAM 1,000.
  • For the accused Dušan Mićanović, born in 1992, from Trebinje, a citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina, a prison sentence of 1 year, and confiscation of unlawfully acquired material gain in the amount of BAM 1,000.

  • For the accused Dražen Salamadija, born in 1996, from Foča, a prison sentence of 1 year, and confiscation of unlawfully acquired material gain in the amount of BAM 1,400.

As part of the Plea Agreements in question, the "marijuana" narcotic drug in the amount of 154.7 kg was confiscated from the said accused persons, along with a BMW vehicle that was used in the perpetration of the crime, as well as mobile phones, computers and communication devices.

By signing Plea Agreements, all the aforementioned accused persons committed themselves to testifying in the case code-named "Staza" /”Path”/, which is being conducted against the five (5) remaining accused persons.

The proposed sentences are consistent with the roles and responsibilities of these accused persons in the perpetration of the criminal offence.

By signing the Plea Agreement, the aforementioned accused persons waive their right to a trial and the right to file an appeal against the Judgment handed down against them by the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina on the basis of their Plea Agreements.

The Plea Agreements were forwarded to, and accepted by the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Subsequently, the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina handed down a convicting judgment against these accused persons.
