The suspect has been on the run for a long time and thus unavailable to the criminal prosecution authorities of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and he is suspected of belonging to organized crime structures that operated in the area of East Sarajevo and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The suspect is associated with some of the unsolved murders in East Sarajevo, and he is suspected of cooperating with members of organized criminal groups in the region which can be linked to a number of criminal offenses.

The measure of custody has been proposed in relation to this suspect, for reasons set forth in Article 132, paragraph 1, items a), b) and c) of the Criminal Procedure Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and custody has been proposed due to the risk of flight and the danger that, if at large, the suspect may hinder the investigation, conceal evidence or influence witnesses or accomplices, as well as due to the danger that, if remaining at large, he could repeat or complete the criminal offense.

At the hearing that will be held before the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Prosecutor in charge of the case will explain in detail his custody motion.
