BY ORDER OF THE BIH PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE AN OPERATION INVOLVING SEVERAL PERSONS SUSPECTED OF ILLICIT INTERNATIONAL TRAFFICKING IN NARCOTIC DRUGS CONDUCTED
04.11.2022. 07:59Acting on the order of a Prosecutor from the Special Department for Organized Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, police officers of the Sarajevo Canton MoI carried out an operation codenamed "Raptor" in the Sarajevo area, aimed at combating organized crime linked with illicit international trafficking in narcotic drugs.
Four persons suspected of having continuously engaged in illicit international purchase and sale, transportation, brokering and delivery of narcotic drugs "cocaine", "marijuana" and "speed", as well as other criminal offenses were deprived of liberty.
Searches of buildings and vehicles used by the mentioned persons are ongoing.The suspects are under investigation due to existence of grounds for suspicion that they have committed criminal offense of organized crime in conjunction with the criminal offenses of illicit trafficking in narcotic drugs and smuggling of persons under CC BiH, and the criminal offense of abuse of insurance under CC F BiH.
These activities are a continuation of the operations in the cases with the decrypted applications Sky and Anom.
The suspects will be questioned within the legal term, after which the acting prosecutor will make a decision on further activities in the case.
