MILANKO KAJGANIĆ APPOINTED AS CHIEF PROSECUTOR OF BIH PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE
20.10.2022. 11:55By the Decision of the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council (HJPC) of Bosnia and Herzegovina, rendered at its session held on 20 October 2022, former Acting Chief Prosecutor Milanko Kajganić was appointed as the Chief Prosecutor.
He was appointed by the majority of votes, without a vote against, for a mandate of six (6) years.
For one year, Prosecutor Kajganić held the position of the Acting Chief Prosecutor, and upon the completion of the competition procedure he was appointed as the Chief Prosecutor.
In almost 20 years of this institution’s existence, Milanko Kajganić is the fifth Chief Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the post-Dayton Bosnia and Herzegovina.
