IN THE AREA OF STANARI MUNICIPALITY AN EXHUMATION WAS COMPLETED BY ORDER OF THE PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE OF BIH
17.10.2022. 15:40 The remains of at least two persons were exhumed at the site of village Brestovo, Kazarević hamlet in the Stanari municipality. The remains were sent for forensic medical processing and identification based on DNA analysis to the City Cemetery JK a.d. Banja Luka.
The exhumation and the work of authorized officials was coordinated by the investigator of the Special Department for War Crimes of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina pursuant to the order of the prosecutor. At the place of exhumation the following persons were present a forensic medicine doctor-pathologist, representatives of the Institute for Missing Persons of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the International Commission for Missing Persons ICMP, necessary workers with use of adequate machinery, as well as police officers of Doboj PD and PS Stanari.
