INDICTMENT ISSUED FOR CORRUPTION CRIMINAL OFFENCE
01.07.2022. 11:58This accused person is charged with giving a monetary gift to a police officer of the Border Police of Bosnia and Herzegovina, who, as part of his official duties, performed inspection duties at the Izačić International Border Crossing, on 3 November last year, with the intention that the police officer would not put an exit stamp on a permit for the transport of cargo in the international road traffic.
The aforementioned accused person is charged with giving a gift to an official person in the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in order that the official person refrains from performing an act that he would have to perform within the scope of his official function. Thereby, this accused person committed the criminal offense of Giving Gifts and Other Forms of Benefit, referred to in Article 218, paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The Indictment has been forwarded to the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina for confirmation.
