The Chief Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Gordana Tadić, with the Deputy Chief Prosecutor Ozrenka Nešković and associates, participated in the meeting on the occasion of the presentation of the project - Partnership against Crime and Terrorism, launched by the EU Law Enforcement Training Agency (CEPOL) and the EU Law Enforcement Agency - EUROPOL.

The video conference was attended by officials from Bosnia and Herzegovina’s law enforcement institutions and agencies, as well as international experts from the European Union.

The project aims to strengthen the capacity of relevant institutions in the Western Balkans in the fight against organised crime and terrorism, including the prevention and fight against violent extremism, through strengthening cooperation within the institutions of the region and the European Union.

The CEPOL and EUROPOL representatives presented a three-year project in which international experts, together with officials from institutions in BiH and the region, will work on the analysis and assessment of capacities and needs of law enforcement institutions and agencies in the Western Balkans, modalities and solutions for the effective implementation of joint cooperation in the fight against organised crime and terrorism.

The Chief Prosecutor expressed her support for this project, which will certainly be useful, since the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH is already actively participating in operations together with partner institutions from the countries of the region and the European Union in the fight against cross-border and international crime.
