AN EXHUMATION IS BEING CARRIED OUT IN BUGOJNO AREA.
19.06.2013. 14:54The remains of several persons were unearthed during the course of the exhumation.
The recovered remains shall be transported to PUC “Gradska Groblja” Visoko for further activities concerning the creation of DNA profiles and identification.
The exhumation process is being supervised and coordinated by a Legal Officer of the Special Department for War Crimes within the Prosecutor's Office of BiH and attended by representatives of the BiH Institute for Missing Persons, a forensic pathologist, CSI and Inspectors of SBC Canton MoI while Bugojno PD officers secured the scene.
The exhumation process at this location shall be continued.
The Prosecutor's Office of BiH, along with other institutions involved in the process of tracing and identifying the missing, continues its activities in the process of tracing and exhuming the remains of missing persons in all parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
