INDICTMENT ISSUED AGAINST TWO PERSONS FOR COUNTERFEITING OF MONEY
23.04.2013. 15:28Prosecutor of Department III within the Prosecutor's Office of BiH issued an indictment against the following persons:

Nadžida ARNAUT, born on November 20, 1955 in the municipality of Zvornik, where she resides, BiH citizen

Damir PALIĆ, born on May 1, 1990 in Zvornik, where he resides, a citizen of BiH.
The accused are charged to have on January 30, 2013 at about 22:00 hrs, put a counterfeit banknote into circulation in the village of Jezero - Zvornik municipality, after the accused Nedžida Arnaut found out that the 50,00 BAM banknote she had previously received from an unknown person in her shop was a counterfeit.
The indictment alleges that the accused Nadžida ARNAUT told the accused Damir PALIĆ about these circumstances, after which they met with a third person to whom they gave the aforementioned banknote for an alleged purchase. The third person accepted the banknote, went to a shop and purchased certain items.
The indictment was forwarded to the Court of BiH for confirmation.
This announcement does not prejudice the outcome of the criminal proceedings and does not violate the principle of the presumption of innocence. A person shall be considered innocent of a crime until guilt has been established by a final verdict (Article 3, paragraph 1 of the CPC BiH).
