CHIEF PROSECUTOR MET WITH THE AMBASSADOR OF THE SWISS CONFEDERATION

PROSECUTOR'S OFFICE OF BIH CONTINUES ITS FIGHT AGAINST CORRUPTION. INDICTMENT ISSUED AGAINST 3 PERSONS FOR ILLEGAL ACTIVITIES IN THE PROCESS OF DESTROYING SURPLUS WEAPONS.

06.06.2013. 15:10 The Prosecutor's Office of BiH issued an indictment against three persons charging them with the crimes in connection with the destruction of surplus weapons which brought an unlawful gain of around 500,000 BAM.

INDICTMENT ISSUED AGAINST ADNAN SIJERČIĆ (1980)

06.06.2013. 15:05 Prosecutor of Department III issued an indictment against Adnan SIJERČIĆ, born on February 18, 1980 in Cazin, where he resides, a citizen of BiH, for Impermissible Use of Copyrights.

INDICTMENT ISSUED AGAINST KAHRO VEJZOVIĆ (1970) FOR WAR CRIMES AGAINST CIVILIANS

05.06.2013. 15:04 Prosecutor of the Regional Team I of the Special Department for War Crimes within the  Prosecutor's Office of BiH issued an indictment against Kahro VEJZOVIĆ, born on May 23,  1970 in Kladanj municipality where he resides, a citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

CHIEF PROSECUTOR AND ICMP SUPPORT THE COMMENCEMENT OF THE REVIEW PROCESS CONCERNING UNIDENTIFIED MORTAL REMAINS KEPT IN REPOSITORY FACILITIES

05.06.2013. 15:00 It is expected that a detailed review of 9,300 cases in BiH facilities storing the remains will lead to new identifications.

MOTION FOR REMAND IN CUSTODY AND IMPOSURE OF PROHIBITIVE MEASURES FOR THE SUSPECTS DEPRIVED OF LIBERTY IN THE CONTINUANCE OF THE OPERATION "PATRIOT"

04.06.2013. 15:45 Prosecutor of the Special Department for Organized Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption within the Prosecutor's Office of BiH filed a motion with the Court of BiH to remand one person into custody, and to impose prohibitive measures on two persons. These individuals were deprived of liberty in the continuance of the operation "Patriot" on June 2, 2013 by authorized officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency - SIPA.

PROTOCOL ON COOPERATION OF BIH AND CROATIA IN PROSECUTION OF WAR CRIMES PERPETRATORS SIGNED

03.06.2013. 16:01 Chief Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH - Goran Salihović and State Attorney General of the Republic of Croatia - Mladen Bajić signed the Protocol on Cooperation in Prosecution of Perpetrators of War Crimes, Crimes against Humanity and Genocide, in Sarajevo   .

CUSTODY PROPOSED AGAINST TWO SUSPECTS

31.05.2013. 15:19 Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH has put forward a motion with the Court of BiH seeking custody against two persons suspected of the criminal offense of Organized Crime, as referred to in Article 250, Paragraph 1, in conjunction with the criminal offense of Illicit Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs, as referred to in Article 195, Paragraph 1, of the Criminal Code of BiH.

INDICTMENT ISSUED AGAINST MUHIDIN OKIĆ (1974)

31.05.2013. 15:15 Prosecutor of the Department III within the Prosecutor's Office of BiH has issued an Indictment against Muhidin Okić, born on 20 April 1974 in Tešanj Municipality, where he also resides, charging him with the commission of the criminal offense of Impermissible Use of Copyrights, as referred to in Article 243, Paragraph 1, of the Criminal Code of BiH.

CHIEF PROSECUTOR MET WITH THE MINISTER OF THE INTERIOR OF THE FEDERATION OF BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA

30.05.2013. 15:22 Mr. Goran Salihović, Chief Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH, met with Mr. Predrag Kurteš, Minister of the Interior of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. During this meeting, future activities for relocation of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH to a new building currently used by the Special Support Unit of the Federal Police Department were discussed.
