Police officers of the East Sarajevo Police Department of the Republika Srpska Ministry of the Interior have informed the duty Prosecutor about the finding of several counterfeit euro banknotes.

The Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina has put forward a motion for a two-month extension of custody, in order to ensure unhindered conduct and completion of the investigation.

The persons accused are charged with illegally putting into circulation a larger quantity of tobacco and tobacco products, which were not marked with excise stamps of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The persons accused are charged with illicit trade in excise products in large quantities, whereby they acquired significant unlawful material gain and damaged the budget of the State of Bosnia and Herzegovina and its citizens.
The meeting arranged within an HJPC BiH project was held in Teslić.
