HOOKAH TOBACCO IN THE VALUE OF BAM 63,500 SEIZED

09.11.2021. 13:45 After having been contacted by the Indirect Taxation Authority of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the duty Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina coordinated the activities relating to the seizure of the flavoured hookah tobacco with the total market value of BAM 63,500, which did not have the necessary documentation and was found in the facilities in the area of the city of Sarajevo. The duty Prosecutor issued instructions to his employees to document this criminal offense.

04.11.2021. 14:13 The duty prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH was informed about the activities of the BiH Border Police, which found and arrested two Afghan nationals suspected of smuggling a group of 17 migrants of Afro-Asian origin across the state border (Drina River) from the Republic of Serbia to Bosnia and Herzegovina.

OPERATION COUNTERING ORGANIZED CRIME AND ILLICIT TRAFFICKING IN NARCOTIC DRUGS CARRIED OUT ON ORDER OF BIH PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE

03.11.2021. 11:11 The activities have been carried out as part of the case in which the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina has achieved significant cooperation with partner institutions of the Republic of Slovenia, all with the aim of prosecuting persons suspected of smuggling more than 80 kilograms of marijuana – skunk narcotic drug, which had previously been seized on the territory of Slovenia. According to the evidence collected, the drug was smuggled from Bosnia and Herzegovina to EU countries.
