CUSTODY MOTION FOR FIVE SUSPECTS IN THE CASE OF CODENAMED “DIAMOND”

A prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH working on the case, after questioning all the suspects, sent a motion to the Court of BiH to order the following five suspects into custody:

After questioning the suspect, the acting Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH sent a motion to the Court of BiH to order custody for the suspect deprived of freedom in the operation of the State Investigation and Protection Agency of BiH carried out on orders of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH.

OPERATION TARGETING SEVERAL PERSONS SUSPECTED OF INTERNATIONAL DRUG SMUGGLING CARRIED OUT ON ORDERS OF THE PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE OF BIH

Acting on the orders of a prosecutor from the Special Department for Organized Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption, SIPA police officers carried out an operation of deprivation of freedom and search of several persons suspected of smuggling large quantities of narcotic drugs “speed” totaling about 15 kilograms, which on the illegal narcotic drug market in Bosnia and Herzegovina and abroad reaches the value of tens of thousands of BAM.

CUSTODY MOTION FOR AN AFGHAN CITIZEN SUSPECTED OF MIGRANT SMUGGLING

As part of the activities of the Border Police of BiH in coordination with the duty prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH, an Afghan citizen was discovered and deprived of his freedom in Kozluk, Zvornik area, in an attempt to smuggle 26 illegal migrants of Afro-Asian descent, who had crossed the border between the Republic of Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina on the Drina River in a rubber boat.

After questioning the suspects, the prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH working on the case sent a motion to the Court of BiH to order custody for nine persons suspected of organised crime related to international smuggling of narcotic drugs and arms, and other criminal offences. 

MORTAL REMAINS FOUND DURING EXHUMATION IN LOPARE MUNICIPALITY

REQUEST FOR EXTRADITION OF SUSPECT M.G. (1979) SUBMITTED TO DUTCH AUTHORITIES

 A prosecutor of the Special Department for Organised Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina has sent a request to the judicial institutions of the Kingdom of the Netherlands for the extradition to the judiciary of BiH of the suspect M.G. who has been residing in the Netherlands for a long time.

DUTY PROSECUTOR COORDINATES SEIZURE OF LARGER AMOUNT OF TOBACCO

Having been contacted by members of the Police Department of the Bosnia-Podrinje Canton Ministry of the Interior in Goražde, the duty Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina coordinated the activities related to the seizure of a larger quantity of tobacco, namely 450 kilograms of tobacco that did not have the required documentation or valid stamps, which was found during the control of a vehicle stopped on a highway while coming from the direction of Foča. The duty Prosecutor gave instructions to the police officers regarding the documenting of this criminal offence.
