On 26 December 2024 within the scope of the investigation conducted by the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina together with the Directorate for Organized Crime of the Republika Srpska Ministry of Interior in the corruption crimes matter the following person: Nešić Nenad - Minister of Security in the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Milan Dakić - Director of PC Putevi RS, Mladen Lučić and four other persons were deprived of liberty by order of the Prosecutor.

A group of students from the Faculty of Criminal Justice, Criminology and Security Studies (FCJCSS) of the University of Sarajevo visited the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH, where a program was organized for students to learn about the internal organization, work methods, achieved results, as well as the history of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH in the past 22 years of work and existence of this judicial institution.

The Prosecutor’s Office of BiH filed an
indictment against Began Muhić, born in 1970 in Živinice, the former Consul
General of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the FR Germany (City of Stuttgart), for
the criminal offence of fraud in office under Article 222 (3) of the Criminal
Code of BiH, as read with paragraph 1 thereof, in conjunction with Article 54 of
the same Code.

the customs officer of the Indirect Taxation Authority /ITA/ of BiH, Milan
Vukmirović*, born in 1995 in Doboj, for the criminal offence of receiving a
gift or other form of benefit under Article 217 of the Criminal Code of BiH.
