Chief Prosecutor Gordana Tadić and Prosecutors from the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina have had the roles of moderators, presenters and participants, respectively, regarding several topics from prosecutorial practice that fall within the jurisdiction of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

A probation sentence in the duration of 1 year and 6 months proposed. The accused Adnan Aličić, born in 1979, from Ključ, fully admitted his guilt in the presence of his lawyer, for the criminal offences with which he is charged under the indictment of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH.

An Investigator of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina is present in the field today, together with the representatives of the International Residual Mechanism for the Criminal Tribunals (IRMCT) and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) who are members of the Operational Group on Missing Persons.

As part of the case dealt with by the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, a joint search for the location of a mass grave was initiated, involving the Department for Civil Protection of FBiH, the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) and investigators of the Missing Persons Institute of Bosnia and Herzegovina (INO BiH), and human remains were found, which are presumed to belong to the victims from Donji Hadžići.

During the meeting, there were discussions about the activities aimed at the strengthening of prosecutorial capacities and exchange of experience with prosecutorial experts from France specialized in the area of fight against financial crime, corruption and in other areas of criminal justice.

The sentence of imprisonment for a term of one (1) year has been proposed for each of the accused persons, along with the confiscation of unlawfully acquired material gain and the obligation to testify against other accused persons in the case codenamed Bosporus and, additionally, a fine has been proposed for one of the accused persons.

The accused Shirwan Naseh Ismail, born in 1969 in Sarbier in Irak, a citizen of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and Irak, who is currently in custody, has signed a Plea Agreement in the presence of his attorney, admitting his guilt for the commission of the criminal offence of Smuggling of Persons, as referred to in Article 189 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina in conjunction with Article 26 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
