APPEAL SUBMITTED AGAINST DECISION ON CANCELLED PROHIBITION MEASURES IN NOVALIĆ ET AL. CASE

07.08.2020. 16:11  The Prosecutor’s Office of BiH filed an appeal with the Criminal Chamber of the Court of BiH against the decision of the Preliminary Proceedings Judge of that Court revoking the prohibitive measures against the suspects Fadil Novalić, Fahrudin Solak and Fikret Hodžić in the “Respirators” case, which were imposed ex officio by the Court of BiH, and not at a motion of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH.

EXHUMATION COMPLETED IN ZVORNIK MUNICIPALITY

05.08.2020. 10:18 At the Repišta site, in Križevići in the Zvornik municipality, the process of exhumation/clearing up of the terrain has been completed and incomplete mortal remains of at least one person have been found. The subsequent process will determine the identity of the victims whose remains have been found.

INDICTMENT ISSUED FOR ILLICIT INTERNATIONAL TRAFFICKING IN NARCOTIC DRUGS IN OPERATION CODENAMED ‘SKY’

05.08.2020. 09:05 A Prosecutor of the Special Department for Organized Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption has issued an Indictment against four (4) persons charged with organized crime and international smuggling of large quantities of the ‘skunk’ marijuana narcotic drug from the territory of Montenegro to Bosnia and Herzegovina, and further to the territory of the Republic of Croatia and the European Union.

04.08.2020. 20:24 Having questioned the suspects, a Prosecutor of the Special Department for Organized Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina in charge of the case sent a proposal to the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina seeking a custody measure to be ordered in regard to the following suspects Nikola Šaraba (1982), Dragan Bokić (1976) and Saša Vukanović (1984) from Trebinje.

04.08.2020. 10:00 On an order of a Prosecutor from the Special Department for Organized Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption of the Prosecutors Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, authorized police officers of the Republika Srpska Ministry of the Interior have been carrying out an action codenamed "Trace" /”Trag”/ since the early morning hours, with the aim of uncovering an organized criminal group engaged in the smuggling of narcotics.

28.07.2020. 12:26 A motion for custody will be put forward in relation to a suspect who was discovered in the area of Rudo with more than 120 grams of various narcotic drugs, mostly heavy narcotics.

CUSTODY PROPOSED AGAINST MONTENEGRIN CITIZEN SUSPECTED OF SMUGGLING OF NARCOTIC DRUGS

27.07.2020. 12:21 A motion for custody has been put forward in relation to a suspect in whose vehicle around 55 kilograms of a substance resembling "skunk" marijuana narcotic drug had been seized at the Gradiška Border Crossing. The exact composition of the said substance will be determined in an expert analysis.
