EMPLOYEE OF THE COURT OF BIH DEPRIVED OF LIBERTY FOR CORRUPTION
15.04.2026. 09:20Acting on a report submitted by the Acting President of the Court of BiH, the Prosecutor on Call of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH issued an order to SIPA police officers to deprive of liberty an employee of the Court of BiH, S.B.* born in 1994, suspected of committing the criminal offense of Embezzlement in Office under Article 221 of the Criminal Code of BiH.
Deprivation of liberty was carried out at the Ivanica border crossing, during the suspect’s attempt to leave BiH. The suspect is charged with illegally appropriating a large amount of cash that was stored in the Depository of seized items of the Court of BiH, as a specialist officer for the execution of criminal sanctions and records of temporarily seized cases at the Court of BiH.
After questioning the suspect, the Prosecutor will make a decision on further activities in the case.
