OVERVIEW OF MAJOR ACTIVITIES FOR THE WEEK BETWEEN 4 AUGUST AND 8 AUGUST 2025
08.08.2025. 14:09The Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina submitted a motion that a measure of custody be imposed on the suspect Armin Begović*, born in 1997 in the Kingdom of the Netherlands, a citizen of BiH and the Kingdom of the Netherlands, who was deprived of his liberty in the Federal Republic of Germany under an international warrant issued by the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The custody measure was proposed for the reasons prescribed by Article 132 (1) (a) of the Criminal Procedure Code of BiH.
The suspect is under investigation because of the existence of a grounded suspicion that he committed the criminal offence of illicit trafficking in narcotic drugs set out in Article 195 (1) of the Criminal Code of BiH and unauthorised production and distribution of narcotics set out in Article 232 (1) of the Brčko District Criminal Code.
This announcement does not prejudice the outcome of the criminal proceedings and does not violate the principle of the presumption of innocence. A person shall be considered innocent of a crime until guilt has been established by a final verdict (Article 3, paragraph 1 of the CPC BiH).
