An overview of the most important activities for the week 14 -18 April 2025 

INDICTMENT ISSUED AGAINST DŽEMAL SALDUM* FOR THE CRIMINAL OFFENCE OF SMUGGLING OF PERSONS

The Prosecutor’s Office of BiH issued an indictment against Džemal Saldum aka ‘Džemo’, born in 2003 in Travnik, a citizen of BiH, due to grounded suspicion that he committed the criminal offense of Smuggling of Persons under Article 189 Paragraph 1, in conjunction with Article 26 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina.


INDICTMENT ISSUED AGAINST ZORAN RADOVANOVIĆ* FOR THE CRIMINAL OFFENSE OF SMUGGLING OF PERSONS

The Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina issued an indictment against Zoran Radovanović, born in 1973 in Zvornik, a citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Serbia, due to grounded suspicion that he committed the criminal offense of Smuggling of Persons under Article 189, paragraph 2 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina.


INDICTMENT ISSUED AGAINST ADIS PRAŠOVIĆ ADIS* AND AMER SELAK* FOR MULTIPLE CRIMINAL OFFENCES

The Prosecutor’s Office of BiH issued an indictment against Adis Prašović, born in 1979 in Sarajevo, a citizen of BiH, and Amer Selak, born in 1980 in Sarajevo, a citizen of BiH  due to grounded suspicion that they have committed the following criminal offenses: Breach of Secrecy of Proceedings under Article 237, paragraph 1 of the CC BiH, Accepting Gifts and Other Forms of Benefits under Article 380, paragraph 1 of the CC FBiH; Adis Prašović alone is suspected of also committing the criminal offense of Abuse of Office or Official Authority under Article 383, paragraph 3, in conjunction with paragraph 1 of the FBiH CC.


CUSTODY MOTION FOR THE SUSPECTS ĐEMAL MAMELA* AND BERIN MURATOVIĆ *

The Prosecutor’s Office of BiH filed a motion to the Court of BiH to order custody for suspects Đemal Mamela aka ‘Đenta’, born in 1986 in Sarajevo, a citizen of BiH, and Berin Muratović, born in 2002 in Sarajevo, a citizen of BiH, for the reasons described in Article 132, paragraph 1, items b) and c) of the CPC BiH. The suspects are charged with the criminal offenses of Organizing a Group or an Association for the Purpose of Perpetration of the Criminal Offences of Trafficking in Persons and Smuggling of Migrants under Article 189a paragraph 2 of the CPC of BiH and Smuggling of Persons under Article 189 paragraphs 2 and 4 of the CC BiH; the suspect Đemal Mamela is also charged with the criminal offense of Illicit Possession of Weapons or Explosive Substances under Article 371. Paragraph 1 of the CC FBiH.
