Prosecutors and investigators of the
Special Department for War Crimes participated in an expert workshop on the
processes of exhumation, forensic analysis, identification and search for
missing persons, including taking bone samples for identification through DNA
analysis.

The Prosecutor’s Office of BiH proposed and
the Court of BiH ordered prohibiting measures against the suspect Nebojša
Miletić*, a police officer of the State Investigation and Protection-Agency -
SIPA from the SIPA Regional Office Banja Luka.

In the Sako Bibić et al. case, the Court of
BiH, after conducting the evidentiary procedure deciding on the merits,
delivered a guilty judgment sentencing the three defendants to more than 20
years in prison and fines in the amount of BAM 90,000 with the confiscation of
illegal proceeds in the form of expensive cars, real estate and money in the
amount of more than BAM 350,000 KM.

In connection with the latest
information in the public concerning the work on the case of the Prosecutor’s
Office of BiH regarding the events that took place in the area of Sanski Most in
the course of 1992 and for the purpose of objectively informing the public, we
inform you that the Chief Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH filed a
disciplinary complaint to the Office of the Disciplinary Prosecutor on 3
February 2026 against Prosecutor Izet Odobašić, because of the disciplinary
violations
of non-execution of the
superior prosecutor’s instruction as prescribed by law and
violation of the principles of the
Prosecutor’s Code of Ethics, which have caused damage to the reputation and
integrity of the judiciary.
