  • THREE ACCUSED PERSONS SIGN PLEA AGREEMENTS ADMITTING THEIR GUILT IN SKY CASE

Having seen the prosecution evidence, the three accused persons in the case code-named "STAZA" /”Path”/ signed Plea Agreements in the presence of their attorneys, thus fully admitting their guilt for the criminal offences related to organized crime and illicit trafficking in narcotic drugs.

In accordance with the Plea Agreements, the following sentences were proposed for the accused persons:

1.    For the accused Milan Rašević, aka "Mića", born in 1996, from Foča, a prison sentence of 1 year and confiscation of instrumentalities used to perpetrate the crime.
2.    For the accused Miljan Mijović, aka "Gluvi", born in 1985, from Trebinje, a prison sentence of 3 years, and confiscation of instrumentalities used to perpetrate the crime.
3.    For the accused Mišo Miljanić, aka "Platina", born in 1986, from Trebinje, a prison sentence of 1 year and 6 months, a fine of BAM 10,000, and confiscation of instrumentalities used to perpetrate the crime.

By signing Plea Agreements, all the aforementioned accused persons committed themselves to testifying in the case code-named "Staza" /”Path”/, which is being conducted against eleven (11) more accused persons.

The proposed sentences are consistent with the roles and responsibilities of these accused persons in the perpetration of the criminal offence. These accused persons are charged with being part of an organized criminal group and participating in the smuggling of large quantities of narcotics in the areas of Trebinje, Foča and other cities.

By signing the Plea Agreement, the aforementioned accused persons waive their right to a trial and right to file an appeal against the Judgment that will be handed down against them by the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina on the basis of their Plea Agreements.

The Plea Agreements were forwarded to, and accepted by the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

This is the second Plea Agreement in the cases involving evidence from the SKY and Anom applications. In these two cases, four accused persons have admitted their guilt so far.
