FIVE POLICE OFFICERS DEPRIVED OF LIBERTY BY ORDER OF BIH PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE FOR CORRUPTION CRIMES
06.03.2020. 11:31The aforementioned suspects are being investigated for corruption offenses, and they are suspected of allowing illegal crossing of the state border for monetary compensation, across the border crossing point, and of requesting and receiving a monetary gift for themselves so as not to perform the actions which they would have to perform as part of their duties. The aforementioned border police officers were taking money both from foreign nationals and from the nationals of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The aforementioned suspects will be brought before the Prosecutor in charge of the case, who will question them and subsequently decide on further activities in the case.
