The Chief Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina - Goran Salihović and the Dean of the Faculty of Criminalistics, Criminology and Security Studies of the University of Sarajevo - Prof. Dr. Nedžad Korajlić signed a Memorandum on professional, educational and scientific cooperation today.

This memorandum establishes a direct collaboration between the two institutions, as well as a partnership in vocational and educational area.

The cooperation will, in particular, include the exchange of theoretical and practical know-how and experiences in the application of legal regulations in the field of criminal legislation.

It will also significantly improve the exchange of achieved scientific and practical results in the process of detecting and proving the committed criminal offenses in terms of criminalistic and criminological scientific results, and within the concept of prosecutorial and police cooperation in the investigation stage.

Special attention will be paid to the exchange of experiences in prosecution; the possibility of scientific advancement of instruments and solutions in criminal legislation, as well as the analysis of the criminal activity status in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is of particular importance for the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH as well as the academic community in this field.
