EXHUMATION COMPLETED AT THE CITY CEMETERY „LAV“ IN SARAJEVO
18.04.2012. 14:36Bone samples were collected for DNA analysis and the bodies returned to the burial ground until the identification process is completed.
The exhumation process was supervised by an investigator of the Special Department for War Crimes within the Prosecutor's Office of BiH and attended by representatives of the BiH Institute for Missing Persons, a doctor working in the field of forensic medicine – an expert pathologist, as well as Sarajevo Canton MoI Police Officers.
The Prosecutor's Office of BiH, along with other law enforcement agencies and institutions involved in the process of tracing the missing persons in BiH and their identification, continues its activities in the process of tracing and exhuming of the remains of war crimes victims in all parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
