INDICTMENT ISSUED AGAINST VUKOSAV BAŠIĆ* FOR A CORRUPTION OFFENCE

The Prosecutor’s Office of BiH issued an indictment against Vukoslav Bašić*, aka "Vule", born in 1992 in Trebinje, a citizen of BiH.

The accused is charged with having, during October 2020, incited an official in the institutions of BiH i.e.  an officer who performed the duties of a police officer of the BiH Border Police, to falsely record a passport with a forged identity, used by a person from the organized crime structures, for an alleged entry into Bosnia and Herzegovina even though he knew that this person would not enter BiH. After that, the accused handed him a travel document listed in the name of a citizen of Macedonia, which was used by a person from BiH. The border police officer, while performing border checks, entered data on the alleged entry of this person into BiH into the electronic official database of the BiH Border Police.

Evidence from the ANOM application was used in this case. The accused is charged with committing the criminal offense of Forging of Official Document under Article 226, paragraph 1, of the Criminal Code of BiH, in conjunction with Article 30 (Incitement) of the same Code.
