DELEGATION OF PROSECUTORS FROM PR CHINA VISITS PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE OF BIH

A group of prosecutors from the Prosecutor’s Office of Shanghai, People’s Republic of China, as part of their visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina, visited the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina and spoke with Chief Prosecutor Milanko Kajganić and the staff of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH.

The meeting discussed the topics related to the prosecution structure in Bosnia and Herzegovina, management, communication and coordination, implementation of criminal policy, as well as activities carried out in the fight against terrorism, corruption, financial crime, cyber and high-tech crime and the use of modern information technologies in criminal investigations.

Chief Prosecutor Kajganić acquainted the guests from China with the history of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH, its organisational structure and its activities in the field of international cooperation of prosecutor’s offices.

The meeting was also attended by the Registrar of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Emira Hodžić, who acquainted the guests with the organisation and functioning of the Court of Bosnia BiH.

The delegation of prosecutors from Shanghai was led by Tao Jianping, Chief Prosecutor of the Second Branch of the People’s Prosecutor’s Office in Shanghai, who thanked for the reception and meeting organised by the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH with the aim of exchanging experiences and practices in the fight against crime and strengthening cooperation between prosecutor’s offices.
