CUSTODY MOTION FOR A SUSPECT FOR ACCEPTING A GIFT OR OTHER FORM OF BENEFIT
The Prosecutor’s Office of BiH filed a motion to the Court of BiH to order custody for the suspect Aleksandar Praštalo*, born in 1971 in Banja Luka, a citizen of BiH and Slovenia. He is suspected of having committed corruption-related crime as an employee of the customs authorities within the ITA BiH, as a shift leader at the Gradiška Border Crossing. Motion for custody was filed for the reasons described in Article 132, paragraph 1, item b) of the CPC BiH, namely due to the risk that, if released, he could obstruct the investigation and influence witnesses or accomplices. He is charged with the criminal offense of Accepting a Gift or Other form of Benefit under Article 217 of the CC BiH.
