A GROUP OF LAW STUDENTS FROM GERMANY VISITS THE PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE OF BIH

A group of law students from Munich, Federal Republic of Germany, who have completed their studies and are currently in the internship phase, visited the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH. The lawyers from Germany visited BiH to get acquainted with the legal system of our country, as well as judicial institutions and their jurisdiction, including the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH and the Court of BiH.

The students talked with a prosecutor from the Organised Crime Department, a legal officer, as well as representatives of the Investigation and Witness Support Department and the Public Relations Department.

The visitors were presented with the history of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH, the internal organisation and jurisdiction of this institution, as well as the specifics of the work of prosecutors and professional staff in the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH. The results achieved in the past 22 years of the institution’s existence were presented and the visitors had the opportunity to ask questions that interested them and that fall within the scope of work and jurisdiction of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH.

At the end of the visit, a short tour of the facilities where the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH is located was organised.

Visits by students and representatives of the academic community are activities that are implemented within the framework of the Communication Strategy of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH and strengthening cooperation with the judicial and professional communities in BiH and abroad.
