Persons accused in the case code-named ‘Staza’ /’Path’/, with evidence from decrypted SKY and Anom applications, signed Plea Agreements in the presence of their attorneys, thus fully acknowledging their responsibility for the criminal offences charged by an indictment of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

In accordance with the Plea Agreements, the following sentences were proposed for the accused persons:

1.     For the accused Vladan Kovačević, born in 1989 in Foča, a prison sentence ranging from three (3) years and six (6) months to four (4) years (the court imposed the sentence of three (3) years and six (6) months in prison), and confiscation of unlawfully acquired material gain in the amount of BAM 6000, as well as confiscation of instrumentalities used to perpetrate the crime.

2.     For the accused Milan Mićanović, aka "Limun", born in 1984 in Trebinje, a prison sentence of one (1) year and four (4) months, and confiscation of unlawfully acquired material gain in the amount of BAM 2000, as well as confiscation of instrumentalities used to perpetrate the crime.

The proposed sentences are consistent with the roles and responsibilities of these accused persons in the perpetration of the criminal offence referred to in the indictment that includes fourteen (14) persons in total.

By signing Plea Agreements, all the aforementioned accused persons committed themselves to testifying in this case, against the remaining accused persons.

By signing Plea Agreements, these accused persons waived their right to a trial and right to file an appeal against the Judgment that will be handed down against them by the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina on the basis of their Plea Agreements. The Plea Agreements have been forwarded to the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

In the SKY case code-named ‘Staza’ /’Path’/, twelve (12) accused persons have signed Plea Agreements, including the group’s organizer. Prison sentences ranging from one (1) to five (5) years in prison were proposed and imposed for these accused persons. In this way, this is the first case with evidence from SKY and Anom applications in the Western Balkans region in which almost the entire organized crime group signed Plea Agreements admitting their guilt, after which the judgments against them became final and binding.
