INDICTMENT ISSUED IN THE SKY CASE CODE NAMED “STAZA” AGAINST 14 ACCUSED PERSONS

A Prosecutor of the Special Department for Organized Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption issued an indictment against 14 persons charged with Organized Crime and Illicit Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs.

 
INDICTMENT ISSUED IN THE SKY CASE CODE NAMED “STAZA” AGAINST 14 ACCUSED PERSONS

Information obtained from Sky application, through international legal aid, was used in the case and the suspects are, inter alia, charged with smuggling at least 600 kilograms of the narcotic drug marijuana-skunk, mainly from the territory of Montenegro and Serbia, into Bosnia and Herzegovina for a long period of time, as well as with its further distribution on the illegal drug market.

 

The accused in this case mainly operated in the area of Trebinje, Foča, Istočno Sarajevo and Gradiška, and were connected to members of organized criminal groups that operate in neighboring countries and threaten security in the region.

The first accused in this case, Dragan Pejović, AKA "Bosanac" was recently extradited from Serbia to the judiciary of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and a motion was filed to extend remand in custody after confirmation of the indictment, and for the accused Vladan Kovačević, a police officer of the BiH Border Police, a measure of prohibition from performing official duties was requested.

The prosecution will prove the allegations of the indictment by calling a large number of witnesses and expert witnesses, as well as by submitting around 200 pieces of evidence. The indictment was forwarded to the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

 

The following persons are accused in the case:

  1. Dragan Pejović aka "Bosanac", born in 1985 in Trebinje, with previous convictions, citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina,

  2. Milijan Mijović aka "Gluvi", born in 1985 in Trebinje, citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina,

  3. Anđelko Milošević aka "Ciri", "Kirofa", "Medo" and "Glavonja", born in 1975 in Trebinje, citizen of BiH,

  4. Aleksa Mališ, born in 1998 in Trebinje, citizen of BiH,

  5. Mišo Miljanić aka "Platina", born in 1986 in Trebinje, citizen of BiH,  with previous convictions,

  6. Miloš Kovačević, born in 1989 in Trebinje, citizen of BiH,

  7. Dušan Mićanović, born in 1992 in Trebinje, citizen of BiH, with previous convictions,

  8. Nemanja Prnjat aka "Neno", born in 1991 in Trebinje, citizen of BiH,

  9. Milan Mićanović aka "Limun", born in 1984 in Trebinje, citizen of BiH, with previous convictions,

  10. Goran Novčić aka "Kiklop", born in 1970 in Gacko, citizen of BiH,

  11. Vladan Kovačević, born in 1989 in Foča, citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina, police officer by profession, employed in the Border Police of Bosnia and Herzegovina,

  12. Bojan Ćalasan, born in 1986 in Dubrovnik, citizen of BiH, with previous convictions

  13. Milan Rašević aka "Mića", born in 1996 in Srbinje/Foča, citizen of BiH and the Republic of Serbia, with previous convictions,

  14. Dražen Salamadija, born in 1996 in Foča, citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
