BY ORDER OF THE PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE OF BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA, POLICE OFFICER OF THE DCPB OF BiH WAS DEPRIVED OF LIBERTY

The mentioned suspect was deprived of liberty while performing regular security activities and in an operation carried out by police officers of the Sarajevo Canton MoI, which was supervised and coordinated by a prosecutor and investigator of the Special Department for Organized Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH.

 The suspected officer of the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies of BiH is under investigation by the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH and is suspected of the criminal offense of Illicit Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs under Article 195 of the BiH Criminal Code, with corruption elements that included abuse of office and police uniform.

The suspect is charged with acting as part of an organized network for the transportation, smuggling and sale of large quantities of narcotics, including Speed and other narcotics.

 

The suspect will be handed over to the assigned prosecutor, within the legal deadline, who will then decide on further activities.
