BY ORDER OF THE PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE OF BIH SEVERAL PERSONS SUSPECTED OF CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY ARE BEING DEPRIVED OF LIBERTY IN THE AREA OF BOSANSKI NOVI / NOVI GRAD

 Acting pursuant to the order of the Prosecutor of the Special Department for War Crimes of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH, members of the State Investigation and Protection Agency - SIPA arrested 9 persons suspected of crimes against humanity under Article 172 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the area of Bosanski Novi/Novi Grad and the surrounding area.

BY ORDER OF THE PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE OF BIH SEVERAL PERSONS SUSPECTED OF CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY ARE BEING DEPRIVED OF LIBERTY IN THE AREA OF BOSANSKI NOVI / NOVI GRAD

 Persons under investigation by the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH are suspected of having committed war crimes against Bosniak and Croat victims in Bosanski Novi/Novi Grad area in 1992 as members of the RS Army’s Military Police i.e. the killings of several persons, illegal incarceration and crimes against hundreds of people in the Fire House camp.

Following the criminal processing, the suspects will be handed over to the Assigned Prosecutor who will question them and then decide on further activities in the case
