In June 2005 the Agreement on Coordination of Institutions from the Field of Intelligence, Security and Police Activities (Ministry of Defence of BiH, Ministry of Security of BiH, the State Investigation and Protection Agency, SBS, OSA, Indirect Taxation Administration of RS, Chief of Police of the Brčko District, Chief of Financial Police of the Federation of BiH, Director of the Taxation Department of RS, Director of the Taxation Department of the Federation of BiH and the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina) was signed in order to improve cooperation in the areas of protection of security, territorial integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina and fight against all forms of grave criminality.
The system for support to criminal investigations especially in the field of violations of international humanitarian law, has been advanced by signing the Memorandum on Cooperation between the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) in October 2005.
