THREE PERSONS ACCUSED OF SMUGGLING OF PERSONS IN THE CASE OF SAFET AHMETAJ ET AL. ENTERED PLEA AGREEMENTS ADMITTING GUILT

16.01.2014. 15:05 Three persons accused of having committed the criminal offense of Organized Crime under Article 250 in conjunction with the criminal offense of Smuggling of Persons  under Article 189 of the CC BiH have entered Plea Agreements admitting guilt.

TWO SUSPECTS DEPRIVED OF LIBERTY FOR THE CRIMINAL OFFENSE OF CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY

15.01.2014. 15:37 Upon the order of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH, two persons suspected of war crimes committed in 1992, in the territory of Bileća Municipality, were deprived of liberty. The deprivation of liberty was carried out by the police officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency of BiH, acting upon the order of a Prosecutor of the Special Department for War Crimes of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH.

PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE OF BiH INITIATED CHECKS DUE TO 1970 DEBTORS WHO FAILED TO PAY VALUE ADDED TAX IN THE AMOUNT OF 296 MILLION BAM

14.01.2014. 15:06 Upon the order of the Chief Prosecutor, a team of Prosecutors has been formed in the Prosecutor’s office of BiH to conduct intensive checks of the VAT arrears for approximately 1970 legal persons and economic entities whose names have recently been published, in order to determine whether there are elements for criminal prosecution of persons responsible for tax evasions and failure to pay taxes.  

REPRESENTATIVES OF THE JUDICIAL SERVICE COMMISSION OF KENYA VISITED THE PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE OF BIH

13.01.2014. 15:42 Delegation of the Judicial Service Commission of Kenya, consisting of representatives of the various judicial institutions, visited the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH. The aim of the visit was to provide input for the judicial officials from Kenya about the internal organization and capacities of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH, particularly in the area of prosecution of war crimes and organized crime.      

INDICTMENT ISSUED AGAINST IVAN ANČIĆ (1962)

09.01.2014. 15:09 The Prosecutor’s Office of BiH has issued an Indictment against Ivan Ančić, charged with the commission of the criminal offense of War Crimes against Civilians, as referred to in Article 173, Paragraph 1, items (c), (e) and (f) of the BiH CC, all in conjunction with Article 180, paragraphs (1) and (2) and Article 31 of the same Code.

- Savo Tepić, born on 25 January 1958 in Kotor Varoš,
- Dragoslav Bojić, born on 15 January 1944 in Kneževo,
- Duško Vujičić, born on 09 March 1970 in Čelinac,
- Duško Maksimović, born on 01 December 1961 in Kotor Varoš,
- Radojko Keverović, born on 24 April 1959 in Kneževo,
- Rade Škorić, born on 04 December 1946 in Kotor Varoš,
- Ilija Kurušić, born on 30 July 1972 in Kotor Varoš.
