The accused was extradited to the judiciary of BiH from the territory of Türkyie at the end of last year, after which the indictment of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH was brought against him and confirmed. After reviewing the indictment and the evidence gathered against him by the prosecution and partner law enforcement agencies, the accused decided to plead guilty.

After the signing of the agreement in a courtroom of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the prosecution and the defence presented their respective positions regarding the agreement in which a three-year prison sentence was proposed for the accused.

The proposed sentence is in accordance with the role and responsibility of the accused, as well as with the assessment of the de-radicalization process, which is carried out against persons who were connected with terrorism or their stay in foreign battlefields.

After considering the agreement, the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina accepted the guilty plea agreement and sentenced the accused to a prison term of three years.

In this way, the case was finally concluded without conducting court proceedings.
