AFTER ENTERING GUILTY PLEA AGREEMENT, ACCUSED OF ORGANISED CRIME SENTENCED TO EIGHT YEARS IN PRISON

In the case conducted with partner institutions of the Republic of Austria, the accused Dalibor Mačak (1981) from Banja Luka was sentenced by the Court of BiH to eight years in prison.

 

AFTER ENTERING GUILTY PLEA AGREEMENT, ACCUSED OF ORGANISED CRIME SENTENCED TO EIGHT YEARS IN PRISON

He was found guilty of organised crime, illicit production and trafficking in narcotic drugs, illicit trafficking in weapons, military equipment and dual-use products, as well as illicit production and trafficking in weapons and explosives.

The accused pleaded guilty and was convicted of the criminal offences he committed in the period between late 2018 and mid-2019 in such a way that he organised a group of people, contacted its members and informed them of the smuggling of previously obtained explosives and narcotic drugs, which he would cover up and transport from Bosnia and Herzegovina across interstate borders to known customers in Austria.

Within the same case, the judiciary of the Republic of Austria prosecuted the accused persons who are in that country.
