ON ORDER OF BIH PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE, PERSON SUSPECTED OF CRIME AGAINST HUMANITY IN FOČA AREA DEPRIVED OF LIBERTY

Suspect Radovan Veljović (1954) is charged with having committed a crime against humanity in 1992, namely a rape and sexual abuse.

 

ON ORDER OF BIH PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE, PERSON SUSPECTED OF CRIME AGAINST HUMANITY IN FOČA AREA DEPRIVED OF LIBERTY

Acting on an order of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, police officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency - SIPA located, identified and deprived of liberty in the area of Foča the following suspect:

-          Radovan Veljović, born in 1954 in Foča.

The suspect is under investigation by the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina and he is charged with having committed the criminal offense of Crimes against Humanity, in 1992, in the Foča area, as a member of the Republika Srpska Army (VRS).

The aforementioned suspect is charged with the war crime of rape and sexual abuse.

Following the deprivation of liberty, the suspect was handed over to the Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina assigned to this case, who will question the suspect and subsequently make a decision on further activities in the case.
