ON ORDER OF PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE OF BIH, OPERATION WITHIN COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT PROSECUTION CARRIED OUT

Two legal entities-companies from the area of Gračanica were searched on suspicion of illegal use of software programmes.

Acting on the order of a prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH, police officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency-SIPA searched and seized evidence from two legal entities – companies, in the area of Gračanica.

This is an investigation related to the unauthorised use of copyright in the field of illegal use of software and computer programmes for specialist purposes.

Support in the implementation of activities was provided by police officers of the Tuzla Canton Ministry of Interior.

The prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH will be provided with reports on the activities performed within the criminal case - Unauthorised use of copyrights under Article 243 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The investigation within the copyright infringement case is continuing intensively.
