ACCUSED OF INTERNATIONAL ENTICEMENT TO PROSTITUTION AGREES TO PLEAD GUILTY

In the case against the accused for international enticement to prostitution under Article 187 of the Criminal Code of BiH, the accused, in the presence of her defence counsel, agreed to plead guilty in full to the criminal offence charged in the indictment of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH.

Pursuant to the agreement, a sentence of one year in prison was proposed for the accused.

The proposed sentence is in accordance with the role and responsibility of the accused in the commission of the criminal offence.

By concluding the agreement, the accused waives her right to a trial and the right to appeal the judgment handed down to her by the Court of BiH on the basis of the agreement.

The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina accepted the guilty plea agreement.

The accused was arrested in May 2020, when it was established that she had entered Bosnia and Herzegovina illegally, together with two other girls from the area of Belgrade, whom she encouraged to provide sexual services for money, at a party in the vicinity of Bijeljina.

During the police operation, the participants at the party were identified and deprived of their freedom by police officers of the RS Ministry of the Interior within the operation code-named “Crystal”.
