BIH PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE CONDUCTS INTENSIVE ACTIVITIES ON COLLECTING EVIDENCE IN “IKONA” /”ICON”/ CASE

With regard to several media inquiries, the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina would like to inform the media and the public that the Prosecutor assigned to the case known as "Ikona" /”Icon”/ is undertaking intensive activities on gathering evidence and examining witnesses.

A number of witnesses have been examined, including the BiH Ambassador to Russia, and a Request for Mutual Legal Assistance has been sent to the competent institutions.

In this case, further actions will be taken in order to establish all the facts and gather evidence.

At the same time, we would like to inform the public that yesterday, on January 19, the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina received a request for a meeting between the Chief Prosecutor and the Ambassador of Ukraine to Bosnia and Herzegovina.

In the interest of the work on this case, we cannot provide more information at this time.
