PERSON SUSPECTED OF SMUGGLING ILLEGAL MIGRANTS IN TERRITORY OF MRKONJIĆ GRAD INTERVIEWED

The aforementioned suspect is under investigation for smuggling of persons and was deprived of liberty when transporting 22 Pakistani nationals.

The Duty Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH acted in coordination with police officers of the RS MoI – Police Department Mrkonjić Grad, who, after stopping and inspecting the passenger motor vehicle Citroen Berlingo operated by the suspect from Sarajevo, found 22 illegal migrants, Pakistani nationals on it.

On the basis of the Prosecutor’s order, the suspect was interviewed and a report on the committed crime will be submitted to the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH.

The police authorities will continue to undertake investigative activities under the supervision of the prosecutor.
