The Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina will take over a case pertaining to the allegations of unlawful actions and irregularities in relation to the import of respirators from the People’s Republic of China to Bosnia and Herzegovina, which cost approximately 10.5 million BAM.

After the State Investigation and Protection Agency, pursuant to its authorities prescribed under the Law on the Prevention of Money Laundering and Financing of Terrorist Activities, had checked the allegations regarding the unlawful actions in connection with the procurement of a hundred (100) respirators from the People’s Republic of China, and after all the facts known so far had been examined, it was determined that the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina has jurisdiction over that case, and further activities and checks will be continued and conducted under the supervision of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

In this regard, this case will today be submitted to the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina by the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of the Sarajevo Canton, which had been supervising the conduct of the case until now.
