PERSON ACCUSED OF ILLICIT TRAFFICKING IN NARCOTIC DRUGS ENTERS INTO PLEA AGREEMENT ADMITTING HIS GUILT

The proposed sentence includes one year of imprisonment, confiscation of unlawfully acquired material gain in the approximate amount of BAM 6700 and confiscation of objects used in the perpetration of the criminal offence.

PERSON ACCUSED OF ILLICIT TRAFFICKING IN NARCOTIC DRUGS ENTERS INTO PLEA AGREEMENT ADMITTING HIS GUILT

In the presence of his attorney, the accused Srećko Ponjević, born in 1986 in Jajce, a citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina, has signed a Plea Agreement fully admitting his guilt for the committed criminal offenses of Organized Crime and Illicit Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs, for which he was charged by the Indictment of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Pursuant to the Plea Agreement, the pronouncement of the sentence of imprisonment against the accused, for a term of one (1) year, and confiscation of unlawfully acquired material gain in the approximate amount of BAM 6700 have been proposed.

Moreover, in accordance with this Plea Agreement, objects used in the perpetration of the said criminal offence will be confiscated from the accused, including several mobile telephones.

The proposed sentence corresponds to the role and responsibility of the accused in the commission of the said criminal offence.

By virtue of signing this Plea Agreement, the accused waives his right to a trial and right to appeal to the Judgement rendered against him by the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, on the basis of this Plea Agreement.

This Plea Agreement has been forwarded to the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
