THE THIRD SUSPECT OF WAR CRIMES COMMITTED IN THE AREA OF SARAJEVO DEPRIVED OF LIBERTY

After the conducted activities to deprive of liberty two suspects- former members of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the third suspect, Elvir Muminović (born in 1975), who was abroad, was also deprived of liberty.  

THE THIRD SUSPECT OF WAR CRIMES COMMITTED IN THE AREA OF SARAJEVO DEPRIVED OF LIBERTY

Prosecutor in charge of this case will question the suspect and subsequently decide on further activities in accordance with the law.   

The suspects are under investigation by the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina and they are charged, as members of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, to have committed multiple rape and sexual abuse in 1993, in one of the neighbourhoods of Sarajevo, against an underage girl of Serb ethnicity who lived in the area of the city which was controlled by the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
